oh my god 10x better man. personally i cant stand when you can see the whole intercooler through the opening of the front bumper, kinda dwarfs it.

thanks guys i myself love it much more minus the type s the thing makes my earbells ring, absurdly loud. As for the t28, yeah i slightly trimmed the outlet, but not all the way straight up and down for clamping purposes. Im currently looking into a .50 trim so i figured eh why not. it works good so far, but man.. i have no top end powa. ask TJ. so boost leak test this weekend.

HUGE improvement Dan. Whats wrong with the Type-S? Is it adjusted right? Mine doesn't sound high pitched at full boost at all, I think it sounds unique. At lower boost/part throttle its got the whistle to it though.
What 50 trim are you thinking about?
Oh and if you've got your Rebel with you, we should all meet up sometime for a good photoshoot.

dont get me wrong i think the type s is the best sounding ever, but ill be cruising on the highway in -10 to -5 vacuum and let off and it whistles away. im not quite sure how to go about adjusting it matt, any help would be great. i'm highly considering a pte .50 trim with my tax money, nothing too crazy but something a little better than a evo 3 16g or similar. i do have my rebel with me, these pics werent with the rebel the rebel takes wild pictures like this : id love to meet up, hopefully ill make it to next weeks tues meet

Yeah, it sounds like it's adjusted too loose. It shouldn't be opening while in boost during acceleration.

Adjust the threaded stud on top of the BOV...turn it towards the "stiff/tighten/whatever it says" arrow until that goes away. Mine will flutter/chirp just a tiny bit in vacuum and begin to blow off in lower boost levels. If I really listen to it, I can hear a tiny chirp on normal driving, but only if I try to listen for it. Since you aren't even venting, I doubt you would be able to hear that at all once its adjusted right.

He is venting. You need to find a vacuum pump to do it right Dan but I do not know anyone with a pump and they are kinda pricey. You could get away with doing what Matt said if you go a tiny bit by tiny bit.
