Supposedly there is a new race shop in Muskegon that specializes in turbo fabrication and the owner is a DSM guy. He supposedly has a 1000hp DSM coming from Iowa that they have built. His name is Dan, that's all I know.
Anyone have any more info?

All the newer dsm guys that don't know the stories of the owner love his stuff. The older guys wont give it a shot b/c he is the one that created the old mutt turbos that blew up really really fast. But his new shop seems to be doing pretty good.

Actually my turbine housing comes from them... cast iron 7cm 34mm flapper. But the snap ring they supplied was too thick to put between the two housings. So it had to be sent back to be re-machined. Then we got it on and then it was shaved down too thin. So now anytime that my car warms up, you can hear the snap ring shaking around between the two turbine housings.
Hmm....maybe thats the reason for my horrible spool times...

I've been up to the shop in Muskegon. Dan is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a tour of the shop and showed me how they operate. As long as they dont start selling that mutt crap again, I give Bullseye 2 thmbs up.

I have been there as well. They are located in part of Eagle Alloys (or something like that). It is a big foundry... quite impressive.

hey guys...new to the site...dave thanks for throwin the word out. I just got hired by dan to do their sales. If any of you are scared of your turbo's blowing up really fast he offers a no questions asked warranty for about $70. No matter what happens to the turbo you get a new one....even if parts of your engine are still inside the turbo. i'm here if any of you have questions

she's running pretty well. I've got a few more parts on her and a few more to go lol. ah i'm still at the "city" but its part time and i'm part time at Bullseye. They didn't offer enough $ to leave circuit yet. Its a good learning opportunity though so i'm pretty happy about that.

Just a head up on Bullseye Power..... I skillfully blew my v-trim (lack of oil to the shaft). I drove down to the shop and they took good care of me. It just so happens that David was in town for a week too, so I got to meet him in person. I just wanted to let you guys know that they did stand by their warranty (even though it was clearly my fault) and they replaced my turbo w/o a problem.
PS - I ended up upgrading to a T04b 50-trim, and I love this thing!

PS - I ended up upgrading to a T04b 50-trim, and I love this thing! I don't understand why anyone would use the TO4E 50 trim wheel in the smaller T04b cover. It makes NO sense at all. Installation is the same over the to4e cover,no hitting the water pipe with there cool turbine housings. Instead your compromising pressure ratio, charge temps, and top end flow. With nothing in return but a smaller cover? Sign me up!
