Oh and what kinda of wiseguy/moderator can't figure out how to pull an axle !! I know exactly what to remove and how to do it. My problem was that this entire car is crustified underneath, so things were not coming apart at all. Therefore, I called looking for any tips on "other" ways to go about a couple things. But if you would have bothered to answer your phone and/or call back, you would have known that.

If anyone has a problem with my sandy vagina, then they'll have to worry about some foot in their ass.... HAHA. So, We made more progress today. I had to lure Onad out there with the promise of a new friction surface for his Fidanza. And I actually got him to stay and help for an hour or so... #1 - We finally got the engine and tranny pulled. #2 - We re-positioned the parts car..... lol #3 - I got one of the driveshaft supports drilled out. And the other is 70% removed as well. PICS: Engine/Tranny removal: Before re-positioning: After re-positioning: The rear driveshaft support: Next step is to clean up garage, then shovel snow for a couple hours so I can get my 99GST out of the third garage bay and into the "working" area. Hopefully it will be in there by Friday.

Yeah, the re-positioning was the fun part. I even got video of us doing it. Wow it looks like that spot weld drill bit work really well. Thats sweet. It did work well. I only stopped because I was tired and both drill batterys were drained. But I'm glad I got three of those double sided replacement cutters. I originally almost only bought one because I figured I wouldnt need anymore than that. But I opted for the three pack just to be on the safe side. Well, I ended up destroying both sides on two cutters last night. Chewed all of the teeth clean off. This last cutter should get me by though.

Small update. I got the other driveshaft support cut off a couple nights ago. I finally paid for my Koni Yellows on Friday and brought them home. And I cleaned out the garage and we got the GST out of the third bay and over into the "workzone". I'll be dropping the GST's rear subframe and gas tank on Monday. Feels good to be finally making progress. :-D

So, Dan and I worked for a little over an hour today, and got a decent amount accomplished. We dropped the turboback, removed the entire rear subframe, suspension, and e-brake assembly, and I also prepped/gutted the rear of the interior. And Yes, it seriously only took a little over an hour of work. Thanks for the help, Onad!! PICS: Tomorrow, I'll have take care of the rear spring/shock stuff, and I plan on removing the fuel tank, and maybe cutting the subframe bolts out of my GST. More pics to come as progess takes place. Stay tuned!
