And so the beast roars again....well more like meows. The 14b is in to replace the broken POS t25. Some issues I'm having now. There is what appears to be steam coming off basically anything and everything. I'm assuming it's either oil or radiator fluid burning off. Also, I may be overestimating the car, but there is almost no power to the car. I don't know if it's because of the automatic, but I was expecting a little more oomph. My mom's car is a four banger Miata and has more power, but it's a stick, so I don't know if that's it. It does have more power than my sister's kia, so I guess that means something...right? Next project is the end clutch. If anyone is bored and would like to help me out, I'd be more than glad to buy you a couple beers for your help. I'd like to thank Porters Performance for the turbo, but they made some silly mistakes, like giving me the wrong oil feed line, and then when trying to give me the right one, gave me another wrong one. Oh well, they did end up giving me a steel braided line. Doesn't nearly pay for the gas it took to get there and back a bunch. Also, there was no coder pin to hold the waste gate arm on to the flapper, so I rigged it up with a zip tie for now since there is stuff in the hole and I can't just stick something through it. Well, hope to see you all at the track soon.

The zip tie will melt off for sue for the wastegate flapper. At least use a paper clip It hasn't melted yet, so it has served it's purpose. I just need to find a more permanent solution.

my favorite is the retaining pin for the timing belt tensioner, if not that, then little finishing nails. i use em for shifter cables and the wastegate acuator

Well, there's something in the hole that we can't get out, and I really don't want to drop the turbo out again to get it out, so I'm just gonna paper clip it on.

AND WE HAVE OD!! Replacing the end clutch fixed my overdrive issue. Everything is not running smoothly. Now I'm gonna try and do some standard maintenance on it (oil change, radiator fluid, brake fluid, etc). Hopefully I'll make it to some sort of meet this summer, especially since Kalamazoo stopped having their weekly one. After that I'm gonna try and get a pocket logger and a wideband so I know what's going on when I start to mod it. As of now it has a 14b, evo3 IM, a canister muffler which looks like it was done by an exhaust shop replacing just the stock muffler. It has some gay BOV, but the other one didn't feel like it was holding pressure so I'll be looking for a crushed 1g BOV with a upper IC pipe soon. And other than that, I need to find the mounting hardware for the battery tie down. I need the 4 bolts that hold down the tray and the rods the go up along the battery and across it with all the other necessities. If you have this stuff, shoot me a PM.
Also, I got the wastegate arm to stay with the use of a push nut. I'm not sure if that's exactly what they're called, but it's on there and it's staying.

Well, it WAS working. Now I've got a crank but no start problem. I'll try and diagnose it later. But, for now, here are some newer pics. I reset the trip the last time I filled it. Yeah, eat that. NOTE: I need battery tie-down stuff Evo3 IM?
