I painted my VC in that exact color before, and it held up fine.

I painted my VC in that exact color before, and it held up fine. yeah I don't know if the prep was off or if it was the way I was spraying it, but the paint is bubbling around the letters or any elevated part.

i am as well. if it doesn't fade and look goofy, i might have to pick up one of those FP manifolds. but mine will have to be repainted black. :-)

That FP mani looks sick. Let me know how it works out for you, my piece of shit tubular is either crack or blew a weld so I'm in the market, as long as it's cooler I think I'm sold on it.

That valve cover looks great. The car looks like it's coming along nicely.

The car is finally down on the ground rolling. I built an intake pipe for it tonight, but I have to finish it off before I post pics. Welding around a pipe with a mig and standing hunched over a weird table makes for some pretty sad welds

IT RUNS!!!! Wideband tomorrow, then we are all good to go for some break in time! Left the camera at home so no pics this time, but I am beyond thrilled that this project is coming to a close. I want to give a huge shout out to Matt, because without his tremendous help we wouldn't have been able to do it. I am so thankful that you came out to help us, even when you couldn't walk. Also thanks to Cory for helping with all kinds of little stuff, like painting and rebuilding my window switch I would write something to TJ, but he will get his thank you later That all being said, it's almost July, and I am really looking forward to driving my damn car to a meet for the first time in almost a year!
