Hey everyone whats up? Okay so i have seen a few cars and im sure i have been spoted driving around Grand Rapids. I Have a custom Talon TSI of sorts. It has a GM blue paint job with black roof hood and trunk with euro tail lights. My headlights are off of a Nissan silvia s13! yeah that was kinda fun! As far as the motor goes its turb FWD. This week i installed a HKS SSQV and front mount intercooler. that is not toatlly done yet due to the need of more piping. I had an HKS timing belt and new water pump put on last fall. All i know is the car is stock from there out. I took the exhaust manifold off and cleaned it out inside. other than that i am looking for any help i can get. i have read on other forum but have no clue on what some of them are talking about. If anyone would be willing to shoot me some ideas and some quick go fast bits that would be great. i was told a big 16 or evo 3 turbo would be good to start with and bigger injectors. from there i have no clue what i am doing. hope to hear some help. and see you on the road or at the track!

Welcome! I seen your ride at dog dawgs a couple of times. I believe I talked to you once. As far as performance going with the hks bov and timming belt arent really needed. The stock Oem ones where more than enough to not have to spend the extra dough. The oems are tops in that area. Theres more to upgrade befor that turbo. Your doing the fmic, thats good. But what about exhaust. You can also upgrade to a 2g maf sensor and throw on some 550 injectors. That setup with on a 14b and a 190lph fuel pump shoulds give you a nice little boost.

welcome to the site. interesting look with the laser front bumper. as far as power mods first thing i would suggest is a decent 2.5" or ideally 3" turboback exhaust to let it breathe for starters. your biggest issue with making more power will be traction so decently sticky tires are always a plus as well.

In Moline huh? I'm in Wayland for the next couple of months. What happened to down town? To the op, a very simple setup is a 2g mas, 550cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, and an afc or some other way to tune the car.

Sup? That was myself and TJ "wishihadatalon" you saw tonight. My car, his tuning. Did you run tonight?
But to your question, just keep your eyes open on the events tread, as we get closer to the shootout a caravan thread normally pops up. And its almost a tradition each year... See you around

What size injector,16g,exe. The tubular manifold isent needed, but wouldnt hurt if its a real good make. If the 16g's not blown and not some ebay knock off then thats a good price for it all. So lets see. 16g -250 ish-350 so well say 300 fpr- 150(new ish for most types w/o braided lines tt- 80? iono, dont have one injectors(depending on size , well say 200) Fuelpump (miles?) new walbro 255 are around 90
I suppose it doesnt sound bad if everything is known to be good and in working order.

yeah its all good stuff. it was all on his 99 GSX. He is either selling it or something so... I need to just find a good turbo back exhaust. the pace setter one was catback. I want a turboback... well i guess we will have to see.

Its usually alot cheaper if you have the right tools.
