Ok well he's my so called wannabe build list. Things may change, but ass of now I'd like this stuff. Don't know in what order or how long it will take but here goes.
Engine 2.0l. Stock crank. Wiseco 1400hd pistons. Eagle Rods Kiggly Girdle ARP Mains ACL Tri Metal bearings. ARP L19 head studs O-ring'd block Felpro MLS and copper wire or Mitsu composite and steel wire.
Head Kiggly Beehive springs. Kelford 272's or 280's Kiggly HLA 3G lifters. Unsure about port work or valve choice, probably stock.
Turbo and stuff JMF or Shearer T4 top mount mani. (maybe Tial vband flange idk we'll see whats available when the time comes). BW S362 or S366 or some equivalent of a 40r. QM Twin Disk (hopefully be able to get the new prototype disks). FIC BM 1600 or larger injectors.
Thats what I can think of right meow.

Bahh I change my mind too much.
I'm now fairly set on building a 2.0L Looooong Rod motor. 4g63 6 bolt block Stock 88mm 4g63 6 bolt crank. 2.3l Wiseco 1400 HD 22mm (yes 7 bolt) pistons Custom Manley Turbo Tuff I beam rods. 156mm lenth, 1g big end width (1.115"), 22mm pin. ARP L19 rod bolts.
Basically its a stock block stock crank, shorter height stroker pistons, and 6mm longer rods. Gives the engine a much broader, flatter tq curve, and the ability to rev to the moon (Literally like 11k potential).
IMO Mitsubishi should have built the 2.0L this way from the factory.

i was always interested in the 2.1 destroke so this sounds like a fun setup. 7-bolt pistons for the larger wrist pin?

i was always interested in the 2.1 destroke so this sounds like a fun setup. 7-bolt pistons for the larger wrist pin? The long rod 2.0 has a better rod ratio than even the 2.1L destroker. The 2.0 long rod is 1.77 whereas the 2.1 is 1.84 or 1.85. And the tq characteristics are so close that its not worth the hassle of using a 2.4 block, taller deck, different timing belt, etc. Its just more easy and feasible to go 2.0 long rod. Yes 7 bolt pistons for the 22mm pin. Wiseco doesn't sell an off the shelf 6 bolt 21 mm HD stroker piston, only a 22mm 7 bolt piston, which is weird. You CAN get the wiseco HD pistons 21 mm stroker pistons ONLY from ExtremePsi as they order them custom. BUT, since you basically have to order the rods from Manley as well, its easier just to have them build a 6 bolt rod and push in a 22mm pin bushing and then just run off the shelf 22mm 7 bolt HD stroker pistons.

Still have lots of interest in a BW setup, but I've also noticed that tial is starting to offer their cast v-band housings in all Garrett variations, gt28,30,35,37,40,42,45. And also depending on what Brian finds out with his manifold and turbo setup, I may be interested in that from him if he can't use it on his RWD swap. Long road yet, which sucks.

And FUCK, I still don't know what fucking 1st gear my trans has in it. I've sent Switzers 3 emails over the past month with no reply. I even called 2 days ago, talked to a John fellow and he found my email, and he promised me Tym would email me back with an answer that night. Still no email.
I just wanna know for sure if it has a GVR4 or a EvoIII 1st. If its a GVR4 gear, I have to be easy on it. If its the Evo gear, I'll launch this bitch. I tried figuring it out by asking for input at speed vs. rpm but it vary's alot by wheel size and tire tallness so no dice.

That car needs either white, polished or silver w/polished wheels. It seems to lose some class with black wheels on it.
