Thanks guys. Continuing this thread has put a fire in my a**. I really need to get this car moving again. It's been all of what 2 years or so maybe more ? EDIT: I just found this picture....This was the last time I Drove the car...I parked it with the rod knock then began pulling her apart. This was taken on October 02, 2006 I need my fix again! Driving around the CRX isn't doing it for me...haha. I've also changed my plans on what turbo set up I want to run. The new set up is going to be cheaper and might make even more power than what I had planed before.

Put on the oil filter housing. I'm going to be running an external cooler with this one. No more sandwich filter housing for me!

Got another 255hp wally to complete the twin fuel pump set up I'm running. :thumb: BC 280 cams, springs, and retainers. Oh yeah I also got this a little while ago too. Finally a clutch that should hold the power I will be putting down. And should help me shift the trans easier too. Picked up the PTT conical throw out bearing too.

Well my old roommate picked up a DSM a little while ago and it makes me want to work on my car again. With that said, I finally bought an oil pan. Although its a little dented up on the bottom...I might buy another. I put together my head too. Pulled out the stock stuff, and put in the BC spring/retainers and some new valve seals. Halfway through taking the old stuff out. Here is a pic of the c-clamp with cut socket I used. All new hardware. Glad this is done now. I reused my old valves since they were still good. I did re seal them though, used lapping compound and a valve lapping tool. I still need to clean that damn head. Man its freaking dirty.

So this is where I stand with this pile for now. LOL
This all happened over a long time, so don't think it happened in one week.

Nice setup you have going Bob. I remember doing the exact same clearancing for my stroker. Both main caps and the #3 rod would hit. Good idea with the kiggly girdle too. When I built my stroker, no girdle was available. I really enjoyed the stroker, but I hated the abuse it put on my trans. Thats why I'm building a 2.0 this time around with a little less tq, but the ability to rev to 9000+
I envy your clutch setup. I want one so bad. I do have a little jem thought, an original Taboo clutch fork.
Keep up the good work!

Wondering what were you tunning with when you ran that 12.47? Also how much boost, and was this on a stock motor?

This was a build that started way to long ago and I was in and out of jobs. So it has prolonged so far that I'm just sticking with what I have. Taboo Clutch fork eh....it still exist? haha

I was only tuning with a 3 inch maf and maf-t. I was only running 21 psi when I ran that time. Stock motor also. The evo3 was a bad ass street turbo. I miss it very much. In fact if I can get one cheap, I may throw it on this engine combo ;D

Awesome pics. Paint stripper is amazing isn't it; way better than sanding every square inch.

This was the first time I've used the paint stripper....man its great!
I hope I get it running soon too. We will see. At the rate I feel I'm going, it will be late spring. I don't care if its not road worthy this year. Better to do it right than to rush it and have shit go haywire.
Thanks Paul, it certainly has come a long way.

Ran into a great deal on a 14b. Needed something for a turbo so I picked it up. Here's how I got it. After some loving...
