This thing is going to be pretty sick when it's done. I better be getting a ride since I live about 500 feet away and everything haha.

I pretty much got it all together today since I ran into issues yesterday . Yesterday I got the new(not new but another pan)pan on, and bolted on some arp rod bolts while I had it off. Today I got most of it bolted down. The only issue left is to finish the oil return line. The -12 fittings mad for a tight fit. But I have some new fittings on the way. I also have yet to rout the vaccume lines for the wastegate.

Also need to bolt on the dp to the O2 housing , put on a couple clamps, do some wire tucking, and get some bungs welded on the tb elbow to run speed density . O and correct me if Im wrong but the port on the top of a tial external wastegate stays open( no lines to it), right?

Looks good man!
Yes, the top of the wastegate stays vented assuming you're using a manual boost controller.

looking really nice man.. I see you have some different electric fans, did you switch because of the turbo or did you already have something other then stock? I'm just starting to think about what all i need for my install.. And I'm trying to figure out if its going to fit with my stock fans. Either way, looks beastly..

I actually picked the fans up early just to look cleaner. The wastegate actually touches the right fan so I don't think a stock fan would fit there even with the msv( I think that's the name) vband mini wastegate.
Haha, thanks for the heads up on the nut Aj, I didn't even notice.

Well while every other dsmer was at the shootout, I was at home working on mine. I got fpr and fuelpump and got that stuff on, also poped in a new fuel filter while I was at it. All I need now are some injectors and a parachute . But seriously, I'v been noticing this area around my strut towers cracking. I was like wtf. So I decided to dig a bit into it. It was pretty soft so I took a screwdriver and went to town. I found that the previous owner had some strut tower rust and figured bondo was the best solution, hmmm...seriously? Here's some pics after getting most of the bondo off. O and I check the other side to. Well I spent some good time today fixing it,..well mostly. Since the pics the welds have been ground down but Im out of bondo hardener to smoothen things out.

Plans are good. We all have plans, but money to make plans happen are better.
You know where to find me if you need a hand.

I recently picked up some lucas 1200cc injectors from Paul and have all the things to run speed density but am having problems with it. As soon as I can get that running well, its tuning time.

So I've been considering different plans since I got my Evo. I'm pretty much in a rush to pay it off so I can play with it . So I've decided to drive the talon through the winter and sell it next year. I'll probably part out most of the performance parts and swap it mostly back to stock before I sell it. All the funds will go to paying off the Evo.
