Hah, well two days ago his roomate tagged his driver rear quarter panel with his front bumper pulling into the parking spot next to him. And of course that's the part that got me, so it pretty much just dented it a little more. My mirror scratched his door a bit and his wheel has quite a bit of red paint on it. I'll post a pic tomorrow. He has some suspension knocking but we haven't had time to look at it.
Could've been a lot worse though. Another 6 inches or so back and I have a feeling that it would have torn up my drivetrain pretty good. That and we could have fallen through the ice haha.

if you do do that, the rear quarter window is gonna need to come out in order to cut the quarter in a manner that will be usable on another car. busting it out would be the easiest if you're just scrapping it. as a rule of thumb, cutting an extra two inches or more out around it is ideal so there's some room to work with with meeting the panels together on the car.

TJ - Oh no one else was out there. MIRA had a sanctioned race out there and once they left it was a free for all on the ice track.
Ben - I so want to paint that on my car now!
As for the rear quarter, I'm talkin to Robert (tsimac) about possibly getting his entire shell from him and replacing all my panels. When I switch my rear quarter panel(s) I'm planning on drilling out the spot welds and taking it as a complete piece rather than cutting it.

This is what I did like 6 or so years ago. Parking lot ice racing and a curb at roughly 45mph.

really this could be done with no paint work except in the janb and in the trunk area. which would be good since my quarter is red and so is the door. ill cut it off with plenty extra and let you remove the spot welds to do it. just give me a call i pmed ya.

I was the other one ice racing. haha Dan got the worst of the body damage but I broke the rear knuckle on impact and destroyed my wheel bearing. If anyone knows where I can find an awd drivers side rear knuckle that would be awesome. I can't find one anywhere Attachments:
