Hurr is my latest project pos. It has much less rust than my last project car and its a lot closer to running condition! First, my goal, then pics. Goal# 1-To have this bitch running and driving reliability before the snow flies. I know she needs a battery, 2 tires, a fuel pump, and possibly a head gasket (a new one came with the car) and or valve seals (also came with the car). Goal# 2- comes later. After all the other daily things that go on in my life. Pics! Gratuitous "Out the window shot while driving" Updated the head lights with a DDM tuning 55w6000k retro kit. I need to hook up the supplemental wire harness so both of these bitches fire off at the same time. Guess I should re-aim them...or not! Last but not least....THE MONEY SHOT! Thanks for looking.

Wally 255lph hp yesterday. I hate rusty cars. It was a huge pain in the dick. I had to pound out the rusty pins that held the straps in place which were rusted in. After I replaced the pump I had to lie on my back and press the tank in place with my knees while I stretched the tank straps and pounded the pins back in the retainers. Suck my bawls. Today, I put 5 gal of gas in and threw a battery in to see if she would start....well she almost kinda started. So I walked to autozone and bought a set of plugs. I wonder why she wouldn't fire?? Holy Shit! Backed her into the garage. The AC blows cold as balls.

pretty straight forward. you'll need a flaring tool kit and a line cutter though

pretty straight forward. you'll need a flaring tool kit and a line cutter though I was hoping someone might let me borrow the tools or point me in the right direction of where I can rent some.

TJ and I bought some a while back, but that is pretty far from you. I would call Autozone and see if they rent them.

Went to the Wrench and Whore today... Stood by and waited while they placed it here... Went to work with some help from my Cressida Brah and got this... (not my pic but same pars) Spent a little over $200 instead of $800-$1200 You don't often see Supra Turbos hit the pick and pull. 2 guys showed up an hour or so after I got there and were pissed that I got to it first. I guess they had been waiting on it also. Its all gone now. They took the motor, turbo, rear diff and everything worth anything that I didn't take. ;D

Slowly moving to an actual drivable car. I managed to twist and brake off the rear bleeders on my calipers. The calipers are pretty shitty and most likely the seals are dried out. I ordered remand ones today. I was shocked that they didn't have all my parts in stock. I ran new brake lines from the front to the rear and out to each side. I fired her up for the first time in 6 or so months and she had an awesome fuel leak. Baller! I didn't really feel like running 2 more new hard lines so I ghetto spliced in some EFI rubber lines and clamps. I wish I would have spent more on a cleaner car than to dick around with this bullshit. I'm thinking of running braided stainless for fuel supply. That will happen much later. Leaving a car sit is the worst thing you can do to it as far as deterioration goes. At least she runs very well, A/C blows very cold and everything else is in nice shape. I'm going to condition the leather. I'm slowly tinkering here and there between packing and moving.
