PS - I ended up upgrading to a T04b 50-trim, and I love this thing! I don't understand why anyone would use the TO4E 50 trim wheel in the smaller T04b cover. It makes NO sense at all. Installation is the same over the to4e cover,no hitting the water pipe with there cool turbine housings. Instead your compromising pressure ratio, charge temps, and top end flow. With nothing in return but a smaller cover? Sign me up! I went there with the intention of taking home a T04e 50-trim. But they didnt have any of them there, so I settled for the 'b' housing turbo. Other than the small differences like ease of installation and lesser price, there isnt much of a difference about the way it performs. I started a thread on the tuners comparing the two. The had equal spool up times and not much of a top-end difference. My car is not a race car and I will never me maxing this turbo out; the top-end differences will never have much affect on me. I donbt need anything better and I dont need the biggest and the best - This turbo is perfect for what I want. Thanks for showing interest though.....

actually he's pretty right...you only lose 40 cfm top end going with the b cover instead of the e which translates to roughly 10hp. charge temps are the same and its easier to get a b in than an e. as far as the turbine housings they are made from steel instead of cast iron...weigh about 3-5lbs more, but a hell of a lot more durable.
i remeber talkin to some people last year at the races, dont remember you now wishihadatalon but maybe seeing your face will remind me.
as far as my car...couple cool things...not ready to bring out yet though. maybe another week or two and she'll be rockin

my hx/40 works fine... hit's like a sledge hammer by 4k... starts the whistle @ 2k... good enough to run 11.8 and 122mph... so far... guess some dyno time will have to be done...
on another note i think twistd used to live behind my cus. in dorr... never had a chance to stop by with the galant and check your car out...
