You talked to Jay. The shop is Modified FX. I haven't had any work done there but I do know the guys that run the shop. They are involved (not on a internet level) with WMDSM and come to some meets, but mostly the G.R. ones. As for having work done there talk to SilverGST on here, his car is there right now.

Yeah..My cars been there its probably been there more than it has been in my garage. They know what there doing there I knew the guys there personally before they even opened up the place. The only downfall is that there are 2 guys that work on cars so turn around time on getting your stuff done is sort of up in the air. I guess it just depends on what you want done.

I am pretty sure they are not certified but they have made quite a name for themselves. Most of their customers are loyal. But I do all my own work

loyalty and legality though are two entirely different things...
not rippen on the shop or anything...you would just assume they have some sort of certification...

I agree. But I assume they can do just fine with their loyal customers because most own dsms. Im in the air about the shop itself but I am cool with the owners of it. They should get cert though for many reasons.

They should get cert though for many reasons. If they are taking money for repairing a vehicle... someone has to be state certified (Along with being Insured to work on vehicles and have a car in the shop...) or someone (the three owners depending how they have wrote up their business) can be sued and lose everything and then some by their "loyal customers", the struggling auto repair business down the street, even a place across town.. I'm glad to see there is a dsm shop locally i hope they did it correctly...
