^^^ I agree, without the teeth it would look like you just tried to copy the AMS evo.

make it uber realistic and leave it stripped down to metal, paint the teeth on, and clear it. then just go to town with a few hundred rivets and a drill

Yeah, cmboostin1g is going to be painting it. Hopefully I'll be able to deliver the car to him this weekend. I decided to just paint it blue. I need to keep reminding myself not to go overboard with this car. My original plan was to keep it cheap and simple, and I'm going to stick to that. Sometimes my mind wanders and that always ends up costing me more money in the long run.

My 14b car's going to be PPG satin black, so you should do the flat green so we don't have 2 all blacked out. Should also be at Chris's in about a month for paint, after my panda.

I'm sad to announce that this project has officially been scrapped. As much as I would have loved to go through with it, I simply don't have the money, and won't for a looong time. And I definitely don't want the car in my way for another 5 years... so, I'll just be racing my '99 instead. No 14b domination for me.

That sucks Paul, I know exactly how you feel though. Please tell me you scrapped the idea, and not the car though.....

Both.
I also loaded it up with a slew of DSM parts that I had sitting around that I convinced myself I'll really never use. It was a quick and easy way to get rid of everything at once. I have to unload a few remaining parts for it, and then it will be like it never happened.
