"are knowledge" perhaps you should invest some of your time with an English text book and then you can stop wasting OUR time. Again just because you own a dyno doesn't make you smart nor does it make you a master mechanic.

ya thats right you people that talk crap should show me you performance shop or shut you stupid stuck up little mouths and ya maby the shop is't the coolest and maby the work takes a little longer than you had hoped have you ever worked on a dsm things break duh!!! so to all you people that complane about my shop shut up and race me! This is like the only post I will let you keep on here. You're dumb, just because one or your buddies has a bunch of money and can buy a dyno doesn't mean he has any clue about what he is doing. I have never been to the shop but I have heard enough bad about it that I will never visit it anyway. Also your poor grammar skills make you look retarded lol, this posts applies to this thread as well.

Can we please get some proper grammar and capitalization from you before you TRY to defend your shop? It's doing a lot for your image.

Wow, this is going to be a fun thread. Granted, there is a learning curve when you start up a new shop, but over charging people and giving out poor advice when it comes to tuning and modifying automobiles is going to keep people away from your doors. I can get on any message board and get bad help from any 15 year old kid that "thinks" he knows DSMs. Please do the whole world a favor and repaint your car a stock color and de-rice it. Why draw so much attention to slow F&F wannabe? I have friends that have been on your dyno and I have to say that your practices are poor. I have never ever heard nor seen a car that sits on a dyno at a steep angle. Why would you back a muscle car up onto a dyno and have the ass way up in the air and the nose pointing down hill? Does anyone else see the problem with this? These cars are carbureted. So you put your car up on the dyno and make a hard pull with all the oil sitting in the front of the pan and the engine is starving because the level of gas in the float bowl is off?? Way to go guys. When you have some time get on Street Fire and type in "Dyno" into the search field. Watch some videos and see if you can pick up any tips. Good luck with your shop and English 101. O and Richard Simmons would like his car back.

O and Richard Simmons would like his car back. oh man, this is getting good! lol. as for the learning curve when opening a shop, let's not forget that Porter's "Performance" has been in business for a few years now ( at least 5) so the time for stupid mistakes is long past.

yeah porters BLOWS HORRIBLY. I ordered a body kit from you it took about 4-5 months to get it in. Then when it finally came in you guys cancelled my appointment to get it installed multiple times. So i figured to hell with it i drove down to pick it up and you guys orderd me the WRONG parts, it was YOUR fault (i have invoice from you stating what parts i ordered) and you told me that i had to deal with it. Thats the WORST customer service i have ever heard of.

Again sorry everybody and thank you, Andy i will be the first one to tell you need to get that checked out. my car is sitting up at porters right now because my turbo went out and sucked all the oil out of the block. and now 4000.00 dollars later i got a new motor. not cool take off your intake tube and see if there is oil in it if so it is your turbo. to much shaft play will let the oil bye and then it will go into you i/c and then into your throttle and then you burn it. After you posted this please tell me why I would bring my DSM to you? All of a sudden you can fix cars after you killed yours and paid 4k for Porters to put a motor in it for you? Did they sell you a fresh from Japan J D M motor? Good luck with your job but you couldn't pay me to take my car there. Besides, we work on our own shit here. Next time I feel like making my car an eyesore, I'll check out P.P.

Next time I feel like making my car an eyesore, I'll check out P.P. LOL. Nicely done there Darryl. Its an odd coincidence that the two people on this board from Porter's enjoy lengthy, unpunctual, RUN-ON SENTENCES. I am glad Porter's Performance added some new employees; This way there are more of you guys that like to enlighten me about things I never knew about MY CAR: -"Trust me, your car is a Eclipse. The guy that owned it before you must have added this wing from something else. Talons were only made until 1996. Trust me, you are driving a Eclipse. I could check and see what we have in our shop, but we really only have stuff for Talons." -"Really? I didn't know I was driving an Eclipse this whole time. Wow, the kid that owned it before me must have gone through a lot of work to even change the steering wheel..." -------> I will never support Porter's Performance.

shut up and race me already. lmao
I'm glad we all agree that we will NEVER take our cars there. i would rather get raped up the ass at the dealership then go to this place. at least there they know something about my car.
Reputation is a HUGE thing in the performance world, and porters performance, as far as this forum is concerned is tarnished forever. There have been to many people that have gone there, only to get horrible customer service, less then quality work, very unprofessional information and countless wrong parts. I will never consider them as a place to take my car. and I'm sure many of us feel this way.
Do what you would like, but know that porters performance is not looked well upon here. There isn't a lot of things you or anyone could say to change our mind.
