Shit, I could hand pick 4 guys from this board alone and start a NON-PROFIT business that'll smash anything that porters could ever dream of. I mean really, dsm's have been making mechanics since 1989".
Has porters ever heard of RedRocket Racing in Kalamazoo? It's a premiere dsm shop made up of two Italian brothers and 16 years of combined HANDS ON experience in tuning, fabrication, and turn key drag cars. From taking the stock ecu to it's limits to custom burned ecu chips and hand made speed density programs. Shattering records and setting the standard in performance in southwest Michigan. Give RedRocket Racing a call when the "other" shops can't perform. Bish! ;D HA!

I mean really, dsm's have been making mechanics since 1989". This is so true. Myself, for example. Prior to DSM's, I had vehicles that I didn't modify much nor did they require as much maintenance as a DSM. Now for the past 4 years or so since I've been into DSM's, I've learned so much, and now I'm a technician at a local Chrysler/ Dodge/ Jeep Dealer, and honestly I've got my DSM to thank for it.

I'm sorry, I cant help myself. I havent been on here in a long time, but this thread just made me laugh so frikin hard today at work.
Anyone that thinks their crotch rocket can beat a dsm should just seriusly never visit any car forum ever again, as a matter of fact, I think man law #89 states that they are, as a Porter's employee would put it, "R3TATRID" (that's "retarded" for those of you who dont speak Porters)
Randy, wasn't this goat rodeo of an outfit the genious group that brought a portable 2 wheel drive dyno to 131 and then didn't know how to run it?
If you want a good reputation, you have to earn some

It was almost painful to read that over and over.

LOL @ sport bikes under 1000 cc's... i've raced 3 600's and one 750 and they all went down (all but 1 was a highway run to about 120)... i raced a high mod r1 (head work, etc) and got beat by about a 2mph pull with me @ 25 psi on the highway (so i'd get him @ 30+ psi)... most of the 600's run mid 12's in the 115mph range with a decent driver so i could turn the boost down to min of 18psi to make it a good run... if your going on what cycle world or motorcycle mag puts out for times think again, unless you weigh 90lbs and know how NOT to pull a wheeeeelie off the line @ the track... oh, yea i owned a 750cc rocket for 8 years
