I need a suggestion for a shop that does head rebuilds.
I'm not looking for anything special. Just a standard rebuild.
I had Napa on Kings Highway do the last one and it's smoked ever since I got it back, now its so bad, I leave James Bond 007 smoke screens when ever I take off after idling.
I'm going to want it cleaned, surfaced, new valve guide installed, etc for which I can provide parts, I just need someone to do the work.

milwood auto parts or wahtever it is called, down in portage.
They did all the engine work for our 1.6L honda race engine. that was 2 years ago. still runs like a champ. been through many wheel to wheels and autox's since. they aint cheap but its good stuff.

Yeah, Performance Engineering in Jenison just did a bad-ass job on my block. They are very familiar with DSM heads as well.
