Is edwin finally happy with his car? did you get it running right? We got it running a lot better. I think with another days worth of time on it, it should put a huge smile on his face, especially if he puts his 16g on and turns up the boost ;D

TJ:I let it idle at 2k and by the time it got to the right temps it was ideling at 25xx.
Daniel: I definatly happier with it. Like tj was saying. I might throw the 16g on there and let his go to town with it,lol.

hmm I am not sure. It could be a bad fast idle air valve which would be pretty common given the lack of large boost leaks.

Swapped out the tb and isc with another and its running pretty damn good. I drove it to work today and was pretty happy. With the exeption of needing a tune the only issue is that it seems to have issues going into gear sometimes. It feels like theres somthing in the way but the links are all clear. hmm?

could it be that you have to adjust the links a little?

Tj has done a great job tuning it. It feels great. However the oilpump has started to whine pretty bad out of knowhere. So,....its going down again. I already ordered a new one from extreme psi. *sigh* There goes another 200$.

That really sucks Edwin Just glad to hear that it didn't seize or something and take out the rest of the motor.

When you re-time it after the new pump install, make sure you don't over-tension the t-belt. That can kill a new pump quickly.

I got the pump in but I thought I had a gasket in the shed. unfortunately that wasnt the case. I was able to get one through advanced auto and it should come in saturday. So it should be back together this weekend, hopefully.
