Well, I picked up a new talon. Green 2g tsi awd; Identical to my fwd ;D I picked up her up from a local dsmer. Clutch was acting up a week later. I could be stopped at a light with it in gear/clutch out and it would stay stopped I went to put in an ACT 2100 clutch then saw how really the whole motor would come out w/ unbolting 1 more motor mount so meh oh well.. pulled the whole 213k miled 7 bolt out and decided I would build a brand new 6 bolt motor. A week later I picked a rod knocking longblock. I took it apart; It had spun a bearing, w00t. I went at picked up a brand new head rebuilt by a friend. Viton high temp valve seals, Recut valves, hot tanked, ultra sonic cleaned, lapped by Ilmor inc. with a mirror finish , new cams, revised johnson lifters, cam seals. Also picked up 1mm over sized 2g pitsons, (.40 over) Mocked up the fmic The block will be going to the machine shop pretty soon. Ill post more updates. ;D Oh and I wont be needing this anymore untill spring heh.

Looks good man. You should post up in the Project log section. What kind of FMIC is that? Keep up the good work and keep us updated.

Thats really neat you found another 2g identical to your FWD.. i would love to own 2 of my 1998's. one as a beater. but then i would get them mixed up, and would be mad when one is way faster then the other. lol

Who did your machine work and if you don't mind how much did it run You$? Did you have that block lined honed with a torque plate? Did you magnaflux the block? Do up plan on balancing the rotating assembly? Its looking great...I'm interested in doing a 6bolt build some day soon too.

The machine work was 130$ for every thing that I had done. Im not sure how it was honed. And yes i plan on balancing it.
