Thanks guys! I wanted a wheel that flowed with the car... that's hard on 1g's. Anyway, these were the ticket, and the bronze is just amazing in person.
Tirerack lists a 225/45/17 KDW2 at $131.

Well, I got to spend some more time in the garage today thanks to not much homework this week. Project for the day was getting the rear bumper cover/ bumper off. Seemed easy enough... Holy rusty shit, Batman!!! Leftovers The cover is off, and still intact. The re-bar on the other hand... well thats ready for the scrap yard. Anyone have any extras?

I thought it was a drag car? You don't need the re-bar

you'll be better off having a custim one made or making it yourself. thats about the first thing to rust out on a 1g.

Want's street legal, non-janky drag car.... What she said. what front bumper are you going to use? I dont have one... Dan do you have one? rear bumper front dejon $99 dsm.dejonpowerhouse.com/I still have my rear but only because I've never had the cover off. If it looked like that I'd be rid of that thing and save 25lbs...or less being it's rusted out.... looking good btw pinder! the wheels are white hot on that!

I haven't full figured out what I'm doing for the bumpers yet. I may just get rid of them all together. However, I did want to drive the car on the street once in awhile on the weekends, so I'd like to have some protection from the females who like to put on makeup while plowing into my ass (and yes, I know that sounded bad).
Randy, I love the wheels on it too! Told ya I wouldn't be happy unless I got what I wanted, and it worked out. ;D
Angelo, if you wouldn't mind parting with the bumper that would be awesome!

I pulled the bumper out. I looks like it has alitte bit a rust on the plate side but none on the inner side. It has a few broke bolts in it though. Let me know when your in Kalamazoo, you can have it.

Thanks Angelo, I'll be sure to let you know next time I head down that way. Anyway, after months of struggling to get these things (since May-ish) I've finally done it! Now I just gotta mount them in the car and it's cage time.

Yeah, they used to be Dan's at one point. Trying to get them turned out to be a story-and-a-half.

Well, it turns out that trying to use the stock sliders puts the seat too high. My head would be touching the cage. Time to put my engineering classes to the test and design a fixed bracket instead.
