I've been slowly tinkering away on the car, so i figured i would post a little history on it and its progress. I'm really hoping to make it into the 12's before the end of the summer, so hopefully this stuff will do the trick and i get enough time for install When i first got it: When i hit a deer, after i spray canned, and threw some eibachs & kyb agx's on it: Some of the parts i'm throwing on: (18g-6sl2, o2 dump, shift kit, manual shifter, 255 walbro) After i started tearing it apart: Now putting on some of the new goodies: the mas is turned upside-down, but thats the only way i could get that obnoxiously bent pipe to fit still need some more parts to throw on, but i'll keep ya posted

noticed that you have a 1g mas, tial bov, and an input for a factory style bov. Are you switching to a translator or something to ditch the off throttle issues? It's looking good, keep up the good work!

^^^ It also looks like the O2 dump will need to be re-worked so that it doesn't aim directly at the front cross member.

yeah i'd say best bang for your buck would be to go to a maf translator as well. the o2 dump, ehh crossmember wont be a big deal. especially if you're planning on removing the ac cuz that fan wont be a problem then

the o2 dump, ehh crossmember wont be a big deal. especially if you're planning on removing the ac cuz that fan wont be a problem then ACTUALLY, it will be a big deal. I used to have the same style 02 dump setup, really almost identical. The exhaust gasses dumped onto the crossmember, then the gases directed themselves back up, and heating up, and melting the alternator wires. Yeah that was no fun.

It's looking good, keep up the good work! thanks, the bov is one that came with the kit, so no sure if i'm going to keep it. the 1g mas might be kept, still not sure if thats going or not. the input from the stock bov on the intake will be blocked off if i decide to vent to atmosphere. i guess since i have an auto, its not AS much of an issue if i dont recirculate since i wont be letting off the throttle when i shift. as for maft, all i plan to put on it right now would be link, and i'll see how that works and go from there. the o2 dump, ehh crossmember wont be a big deal. especially if you're planning on removing the ac cuz that fan wont be a problem then ACTUALLY, it will be a big deal. Yeah that was no fun. i bought it from cheaptalon, so maybe it was yours at one time? i also bought some flexpipe so i can route it somewhere under the car, hopefully any other melting will not be an issue

if i were you, i would keep that bov. from the pictures it looks like a tial. which is what i have on order from my car. but i run mega squirt so i can vent. if you decide to keep that tial, i would do what brent said and get a translator.
and that o2 dump is my old one. It came with my car when i bought it, but i didnt have that cross member under mine so it fit fine.

Progress!!! nothing to great but i have bought dsmlink, although its not visible at the moment. hopefully before the end of the month i will be finished. i believe i have everything now to finish the car minus the injectors, now its just for time to be on my side. pics! also a side-note, would this wiring for my pump be safe? i wasnt given a walbro plug with the kit so i kinda had to wire up my own way to do it. each of the wires has a small insulated cover where it plugs into the pump itself, but i didnt know if that would be good enough. i dont really want to risk sparking and causing my car to become aflame. funny thing is i buy the first kit, but its for a 2g, but still doesnt have a plug. i buy another mounting kit online for the rubber mount and wiring, still no effing plug or wiring. i'm a lucky some-bitch lol. but anyways: another thing that i thought of now looking at the pics, does anybody have any better ideas for myself to route my wastegate dump? i tried using flexpipe but the bend is too short for it to be used. i tried routing it to the side, which actually routed very nice to the driver side, however it got in the way of my radiator so i either couldn't mount it correctly or it was too close. the only idea i have at the moment is to either just get a different dump or somehow have it fabbed up and welded so it can make tighter bends than the flex pipe?

nothing to great but i have bought dsmlink Yeah, I just notcied your username as the "most recent member" last night. Welcome aboard. As for the dump tube - just buy a mild steel j-bend, cut out what you need, and have it welded up.

update: finally got the car running thanks to everyone on here for not totally reading the dsmlink shens.
however i cannot make it move forward or backward. i asked around what would make the auto tranny not go in drive or reverse correctly on dsmtalk (cant post on tuners cause i'm still a noob) and i might have broken the parking prawl. could've sworn i put it in as the vfaq said, but i guess i didnt.
so all i have to wait for now is for the part, and registration and i'm road ready!!!! cant wait to show my delicious rust-o-leum black ride to the crew!
oh ya, still have the pepsi bottle catch can running strong, nothin better for 10 cents!
