Wow. That thing got worked over.... although, it's always fixable as long as there is a donor car available.

Damn that sucks big time. Ben mentioned something about it being in bad shape, but that is just crazy.

Exactly, that would be the perfect project car. What does he plan to do with it?

his neighbors came out at 4:30 and found it because they smelled smoke and could hear the embers popping. he plans to sell most of the rear to our friend steve and take what else he can off it from the rear and then haul it to the scrap yard hopefully before scrap prices supposedly drop. i would love to strip it and make it a budget lightweight drag car. hell it still has a clean title

That car could definitely be put back together... as long as the body's not too rotted underneath. I can't remember.

That sucks for him, he is a cool guy. At least he still hast the 240 though.
And just to let you guys know that are thinking that it is worth rebuilding, I thought this car was too far gone BEFORE the fire to make nice again.

it obviously had some issues considering what happened. i never got to see how it was coming along but he had some good plans for it seeing as how he does auto body. but yeah, definitely not worth it now.

yeah this thing was not anywhere near in shape to rebuild. i had dibs on it, but when i went to see it i almost started crying lol. it is now a little metal block. all that was salvaged was the rear deck lid, taillights, and a few small dash parts. some of you might remember a drunk dude at the best western asking everyone if they wanted to buy a galant spoiler haha. holy old post. i didn't even notice that until i typed all this. so i figured id post it anyhow lol
