When i got the car I was told it had 160 compression across the board well when i checked it was 120/120/90/90. Its all good i have a spare block and i will build a new motor. The clutch is bad, and the t-case has been has been cut up so that the input splines dont touch the trans output. So basically it was fwd. So i have all the parts to fix it just waiting for the snow to leave then its go time! As of right now it has evo 3 aftermarket header, batt relocated to the trunk, emission elim, and power steering removed.Autometer a/f and boost gauge, boost controller,2g maf conversion and msd dis-2. Thats a pretty good start.

i already have the parts to get it on the road. I just need to build a new motor and replace the shifter assembly and it should be good.

no it was a good price. I paid 1000 and and traded a broken dsm, i think my batt was dying doing the comp test and i have yet to redo it. Cause my readings were going down on each cylinder.

Damn, a MSD box will make me go fast? Why wasn't that the 1st mod I bought for my dsm? Oh wait thats right, it won't! Based on your current mods (almost none), a MSD box is the LAST thing you need. Spend your money on something worthwhile. My car ran low 11's with stock ignition. If you want 2 step and a different rev limiter, pick up a eprom ecu and dsmlink, megasquirt, or even a keydiver or old tmo chip. Chances are actually that your MSD box will take a shit on you, too. Not trying to be a dick (ok, well a little), but I'm trying to help you spend your money on something more worthwhile. So unless your getting the MSD DIS-2 and tach adapter for like $50, I'd pass for now.

I've got one I'll let go for cheap. 8500 rev limit, no lift to shift, set-up for 660 injectors, no fuel cut, phantom knock.

Whats a tmo chip? TMO chip = TechnoMotive chip by Todd Day. He quit producing them in early '03, and it seems Todd fell off the grid ever since. Now, the Keydriver chips have taken the place of the TMO chip. For more info on the Keydriver chips, visit www.dsmchips.com.

Tom, you would, of coarse need an eprom ecu for a chip, plus have it socketed if you decide to go this route.
