i would tend to agree with that TJ. Too many DSM owners hack and cut corners when it comes to modding our cars. I have always wanted to track my car, but not sure i want to abuse it that much. The drag strip is bad enought let alone working the suspension now too.

Your car would be a lot of fun to track Aaron. I would like to get a frontmount on Brandy's car and clean up the suspension and take it out on the track. Not enough time to even consider getting it ready.

You should check the road racing forum on Xceedspeed. There are a lot of guys that keep up with autox on there.

Also Martin did the same in their staging lane area a few years back. I knew a few guys that went and had a good time.

It would be fun with sway bars back on the car hitting Gingerman. My brakes would be the biggest issue for me. One lap they would be toast.

That cone course is there for motorcycle safety classes that are done on the weekends - the WMU police get a bit salty if you mess with it.

Way back when, I used to take pictures of 'vette clubs doing laps out there on that course. That would have been my freshman year back in 02/03. Never saw a cycle out there, but it's too bad they watered it down, it looked like a blast.

Even just watching road courses is a blast let alone being able to drive one! I'm pretty close to Grattan Raceway, it's awesome when they get the Lotus and Porsche clubs out there. The owner is a cool guy apparently too, lets my friend store his SRT4 at the track.

I always wanted to track the 1g but I dont want it to die either. Famous last words: "Just once wont hurt it right?"
