I've been doing some research on the recalls for the brass plug in the center of the transfer case yolk and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. Yeah the car is old and has 210k miles, but it's the original case from the car and has been untouched.
Anyone know of dealers still upholding the recall? I've read dealers have replaced them if they consider the wear to be undue. I wasn't sure if it would be pointless to push the idea since I could just buy another one.

whats your vin I'll run it under the recall system...if it hasn't been done then the dealer has to honor it regardless how many miles or how old it is
