So, Sewey and I took some pictures of our new Glocks. Sewey's is a G23 and mine is a G23c. The only difference being the factory compensated option that I got with mine. They are otherwise identical - for now. We both already have a laundry list of mods we want to do to them. Parts should really start rolling in here soon. The G23 fires a .40 S&W round. It has the capacity of 13+1 using a compact frame and 4" barrel. It's a good gun to buy/shoot/carry/mod/etc... This one is mine by itself: My open carry SEPRA retention rig: Today's mod. It was a cheapy. I replaced the rear plastic slide cover with an engraved, anodized aluminum cover. I like it. I'll post more as they take shape. ;D

Yeah, it'll fit the G19 too. I got mine off of eBay, but they can also be found at RockYourGlock.com.

how much are the g32s?
Guns look really nice. Living closer to down town really has me checking out different pistols to get for the house.

Sewey Paid $550 out the door. I spent $600 out the door. Both purchased from On Target.

Nice! I've been debating between the G23 & G22 for my first purchase. Have you shot Sewey's and yours side by side? Curious how much the compensated version gets rid of recoil.

I, myself, was very curious if the difference was noticable or not. We did back to back shooting with each about a week ago. It is a small, but noticable difference. I find that it does help a little bit with muzzle rise and I can regain sight picture quicker with mine. Like I said, it's a small difference, but I do like the compensation. I've also shot is very low light (almost dark) and the upward muzzle flash does not seem to be at all blinding to me. The only part about the conpensating that I don't like is that it dirties up the front sight very quickly. I have to rub my thumb across it to wipe it off every 75-100 rounds or so. Not a big deal to me, though.

I just got this the other day: SIG P228R, one of the limited 2,500 US M11 pistols, SIG never officially sold these in the USA to the civilian market.

Elmos, I'm always down to go shooting. Nice looking Sig, Steve. Well, I got a few more things for my 23c. Forgive the dirtiness - I've haven't cleaned it since shooting yesterday. First picture shows the Glock extended slide releade, Lone Wolf extended mag release (I actually had to send my frame off to be machined to accept this piece), and the Jentra grip plug. This is my new barrel. It's a match grade, 2-port, 4.9" drop-in barrel made by Lone Wolf. I f-ing love shooting with this barrel. This is my new Lone Wolf stainless steel guid rod and 18lb. ISMI recoil sping. This is probably all I'm going to do to mine for a while. I'm stilling kicking around the idea of a Lasermax laser and/or Glock tac. light. I do also want a Maco scope mount and red dot scope, but that won't happen until sometime next year.

i can't remember the name so it might be one of the ones you listed but they do make a laser sight that replaces the part below the barrel inside the gun so you get a nice laser without having anything extra sticking off the gun

I'd get one if they weren't $300 everywhere I look. That's just alot of money for something that I wouldn't use all that often. They are cool though. I'll wait until Sewey gets one to determine if I would like having one or not. ;D

I second that motion. That meet was a blast! Hopefully by then I will have made my first glock purchase, but I'd go either way.
I'd love to be able to put a few rounds through your 23c if you'd allow it since that is the top on my running list.
