well for starters from the sounds of it, if you are able to do so it will probably be easier and quicker if you just pull the engine and trans out of the car entirely.
a few things to keep in mind:
if it has stock head bolts, arp headstuds would be a wise upgrade. i have reused the stock headbolts before without issue in a couple of cases but thats your choice if you want to take that chance being as they are torque to yield bolts and can and do stretch. you'll need a 10mm 3/8 drive allen head socket to remove them.
also at a minimum replacing the timing belt autotensioner is always a wise choice whenever retiming an engine. from personal experience reusing the tensioner can be risky if it will hold properly after being reset.
let us know what you're working with here and we can advise or help with what you'll need to get it all taken care of

well i'll be buying a remaned head that comes with everything in the head... also ill be switching to the arp head studs and a cometic head gasket. and clutch wise i'm going to try the zoom stage 3 clutch kit the stats on it are that its a 225mmx20tx22.4 ceramic 6 puck... the only reason im getting that is cuz its cheaper than a stage 2... and so far thats it i want to know what all can be removed while its apart...

Is you clutch bad too,? I'd focus on the head first and deal with the clutch later if yours isn't slipping currently. I'd also stay away from anything but a full face clutch disk. Maybe someone else can chime in too, but for a daily driven car I'd use a full face clutch kit such as ACT2100, or a Centerforce. I've had good experiences with both. But have only ever used a 6 puck once, and it chattered like a bitch. Held fine, but was just extremely noisy. That's just my opinion. A 2600 is an option too, but for a car that's daily driven, and seldom launched etc. would be a bit much. Depends what your future plans are.

basically it'll be a dd but whenever i get a chance ill be at the track... the only reason i was going to go with the 6 puck is because i can get it cheaper than a stage 2... my pressure plate currently is about toast...and i wont know about the clutch its self till i tear it apart... yea i need the car running again, but id rather get it all done and take care of so that in a month i dont have to tear the tranny and crap off to replace something i could of done now... you know? as for the head basically i went to start the car and warm it b4 work yesterday...and was checking the coolant and oil since i had to deliver... and the oil was a quart low and the coolant was gone.. and i had just threw a half gallon of coolant in before i got to you house sat AJ and then i just drove home after that... also when i started the car after filling it up i looked under the hood and saw fluids coming out of the exhaust manifold where it meets the turbo... so that seal is trashed... and it sounded like rocks where hitting... but the night before on my way home it drove fine....

I run a ACT2600 with a full faced disk and a Fidanza flywheel on my DD and I really like it. It's really not hard at all, it's pretty nice.

like aj said, if you dont have to do the clutch right now, focusing on the headgasket would be a wiser choice short term to get you going. only other advise i can give is with that cometic headgasket, make sure the surface on your block is perfect so it seals properly and lasts for you. otherwise just basic gaskets and timing components -valvecover gasket -cam seals -thermostat to cylinder head gasket -intake and exhaust manifold gaskets -timing belt and tensioner, balance shaft belt if you still have them. check timing belt idler pulleys for wear -couple extra crush washers if your oil feed line it still sourced from the head
also to keep in mind, a 2900 has more clamping force with less pedal pressure due to a differently designed pressure plate. so while a 2600 is still very much a proven clutch, a 2900 can be a better option.
