I'm a SMT Engineer at a local electronics manufacturer, I could do it for real cheap, get me the ECU and hell I'll do it for free.

Word on phils. If that doesn't work out I went through DSMchips and had Jeff do it. Real great guy and the work was done perfectly and in a timely manner. I sent him my EPROM to him for a Stage 3 upgrade and got it back within a few days. Even had an issue with injectors and he sent me another chip WITH an accurate pressure gauge for my AFPR to test out. Great service. Just my two cents haha Good luck!

I know he's not a local like Phil is, but Steve also does excellent work. You'd have to mail it to him though.

To be honest I probably have even better equipment than almost any shop in Michigan. If anyone knows about electronics assembly we have a bunch of SMT rework machines as well as very nice mini-wave machines (which I would use to both remove the stock chip and install the socket). I actually enjoy doing this sort of stuff so just get a hold of me and I'll set you up.
