i have a cyclone intake but i do not have any of the item to control the flapper, so my question is what would happen if i were just to take out the flapper completely?

unless you can get it to actuate properly it's not worth it. even then very little gains just a little better around town midrange driveability. i had one years ago and sold it once i found out what was involved to try and use it to 'agent11br' on here and he had it on his 2g working though. maybe he'll see this some time and shed a little more light on it for you.

the movie makes it sound pretty easy. With the t-25 wastegate actuator it sould start to open somewere around 11 psi and be all the way open by 18 psi

you could use a "lighter" spring, so that is actuates earlier... but how much force does it take to open the "flapper"?
What your 16g putting out for boost?

so it should have enough "umph" to open it...
I wish ya luck with the fab work, It would be sweet to see you get that sucker hooked up.
