I have a new toy.. its a spyder but yet only a GS with the 2.4L.. I am looking into headers.. so i have read that 4G63T manifolds fit the bolt lining for the 2.4L head.... Is this correct?? what are some other options on this 99 spyder of mine...
1999 Mitsubishi Spyder GS $1200 with a salvage title... You would never guess by looking at it.. other than the off color hood and bumper... Any suggestions would be great!!

With some work you could swap on a dohc head from a 1g or 2g.

yeah true but what all would i need to do?? that requires new ecu and/or what other things? I have read up on a few mods but need to make it run 100% and pay it off before i do to much motor stuff... exhaust needs help so i am thinking about a turbo manifold and custom downpipe and exhaust.... just to start...

Probably just the ecu and I am not even sure that you need that (depends on if the cam/crank sensors are different. I would imagine everything else is pretty much bolt on.

Exhaust is done.. still looking for a good tubular manifold.. i know its a loooong shot but i think it could actually look cool once its done.... gonna make a custom plate to attach a custom downpipe to the current exhaust... yeah maybe it will work maybe it wont... i guess we will have to just try and see... car needs a tune up anyways so i will just do it and make the proper adjustments from there... anyone got any other simple suggestions for the old widow???
