It had a top mount (probably ebay), sti exhaust, and probably a tune.
Also the whole creature comfort argument is null when you are talking about an Evo X.

Ya, that forester was one nice ride. And quite quick for what it was.

The X to me looks like the resulting child if an Evo VIII-IX had sex with a Prius. Too flat/square to look good really, could be worse though, could've followed the WRX and made it into a stationwagon..... maybe next year.

I'm going to have to agree with him on this one, the new Evo X is just too damn boring for me. I'm all for low key-sleeper style, but it just looks too tame for me. To each his own I suppose.

Here we go sacrificing looks for stock vs. stock performance. I'd have to agree at first I wasn't much for the new look of the X, but it's definitely grown on me. Same went for then the '06-'07 STi came out. I thought, "who the f threw up on the front of this car?" BUT I'd have to say now that I definitely prefer it over the '04-'05 and DEF over the PT cruiser look (although done right, almost any car can look good). Definitely a fan: Think I'd take that over an Evo any day.

^ that is tits! However even as a Evo VIII owner am a fan of the EvoX looks( not at first but it grew on me aswell). But I do think it looks like a street performance car where the subi above looks more mild so Im kinda even visually but I like the idea that if I ever want to install some performance upgrades, It would come a lot easyer with a X.

Alright, so I've been searching a lot and discussing things with my bank. I think I may have narrowed it down. 06 Evo 9 MR 61k miles Only thing is they're asking $25k for it. Definitely a bit high, and I know it's a dealer and they will always try and make as much money as they can. I've been doing some research and think I'm gonna try to negotiate to $22k. Any thoughts?

Any reason you picked an MR? The trans in those is a little weak.
