i kinda had a thought to possibly enlarge our community at wmdsm.
it kinda is sort of a street crew thing, but i thought that maybe some flyers or such could be made (by someone with good photoshop skills of course) with some info about the wmdsm club and the site.
maybe everyone (or just who wants too) can carry a few copies, and say everytime they go to the store or home depot (you really dont know how many i've seen just there) and just happen to see a fellow dsm'er, they could stick a flyer on thier windshield.
i know some people may be annoyed by the flyers under the windshield wiper, i do too most of the time, but it at least gets the word out that we exist as a club.
thoughts?

That or something more subtle like business-card sized thing that's easier to carry?

I think the best ways to spread information about WMDSM would be the internet and word of mouth. I always tell other DSMers about WMDSM and DSMtuners.

In previous years, locals in Kzoo that we don't already know, ignore any contact info we have given them. Seems like they are too good for us or something. Basically what I'm saying is that I'm giving up on recruiting new people.

i personally get pissed off when people leave crap under my wiper blades. I dont usally notice until i am already inside my car, and then i have to get out and remove it.
Not to change the subject, but if we want to recruit people to the club, "IMO" that would require us, The club, to get together and be noticed "as a club". as i have been reading, we have a slight problem doing this. We had a great showing at the fastest club shootout at 131 this year, (before i was even a member) and i think it is things like this that will get us noticed. A large group of DSM's usally will make me want to walk over and talk to them. not little annoying flyers.. but this is all just my opinion, and that is only one thing that will help, there are lots of other things we could do.

Bullseye. I know that I'm guilty of the no-show thing myself, but anyone can admit that a large group of DSMs attracts attention ;D
