im never one to be an ass but sometimes truth hurts.
i wll share my experience(s), take them as you will but i think you know how i feel
first time was back in decemeber. i blew out a harmonic balancer, blew off my belt. i had my car flatbedded to modified FX. long story short, 8-9 days later after no luck i finally get a hold of them, and get my car back. I was charged 172 dollars for him ot put another harmonic balancer on, just as shitty as the old one. He put the pulley on upside down, and now the "new" one eats my belts worse than the old one. He only took cash so i brought 180. He wasnt even able to provide change, so i ended up payting 180 for a 172 job. the 172 dollars was for a 9 day replacement of a harmonic balancer with another used one that could be had for 10 dollars, and to that the pulleys were put in wrong and now eat through my belts. needless, i am now redoing my pulleys myself.
I let that slide, no biggy. i went back about a month ago to get some exhaust work done. I then felt i really should not have brought my car back there, so i went back two days later to get my car back. the car had 14 miles more on the odometer, which i recorded prior to leaving. it had not been touched work-wise.
i took my car and will never return there. just my .02 cents

I could have changed that harmonic crank pulley in under an hour taking my sweet ass time.

damn thanks for the input. Im not scared to take my car there... i was going to have them do a fuel system, exhaust and downpipe, sparcos, and short shifter in all at the same time, because i do not have the time to do it myself..

You cannot put on a crank pulley/harmonic balancer on backwards. It's not even possible, so to claim they did that is just retarded. Back then they were not even open yet. They did take on jobs but were not really considered in business yet. Point is you would have a legitimate reason to bitch about paying $180 for a used crank pulley. I agree with that. But saying they put it on wrong is not possible. And then later you say that they put on your pulleys on wrong, so did they do more than just the crank pulley? Because you do not have to mess with any of the other pulleys to replace your crank pulley. Lastly if you look at your harmonic balancer the only way one is bad is if the rubber in it is cracking or breaking apart. If it isn't then the odds are your car is crankwalking. Too much play on the crank will cause the crank to move far apart where you are messing up your belts. My cousin Steve a while back went to a Midas type place and had a brand new OEM crank pulley put in for over $200 and his belts still fell off. My point is you should know the facts before you rip on somebody. No offense to you or anything, but come on. Anybody who knows what they are talking about knows that you cannot put a crank pulley on upside down, backwards or anyway different than it is supposed to go on. You cannot do it wrong if you tried to do it wrong. It can only go on one way.................

It was not put on backwards, i mistyped it. Tj can explain it a bit more.
I was definetly not implying that they dont know what they are doing, because i KNOW they know their stuff and now that they are full time i think they are much better at their business skills.
Definetly was not ripping on them either, just posting my experience. If i needed major work done id still take it back to them, now that they are a FULL business. Ryan told me beforehand he was busy working UPS for the holidays, etc etc. In fact, id like to have my previous experiences reversed but i dont have any work needed to be done to see the full potential of the guys @ Modified FX
