Tonight when i had my entire turbo setup out, i was putting the manifold onto the turbo, when i relized that piece of shit pacesetter manifold that came with the car is cracked.. just like everyone said it would. so my exhaust leak, which i thought might be fixed because i got the broken stud out of the head, is just as loud. kinda made me mad.. so i have a wanted ad, for a stock manifold, help me out so i can try to get rid of this stupid exhaust leak.
on a better note, at only 10 psi, this 18g is simply nuts.. at 2 in the morning, when i finally got it done, i was doing 110 down a 35 because i couldnt take my foot off the gas. i was just going so fast, and i couldnt stop. jumping from a t25 at 18psi, to a 18g at 10 psi, is just unreal. from the second that thing spools, to the second i shift gears, its just amazing power.
I cant wait to get megasquirt installed... so i can turn the boost up, and tune it.. then i'll have fun running some 12's...
talk to everyone later..

ya buddy.. my night at the track was dissapointing.. but its all in good time. 1. i was only running 15 psi, 2. i cant launch my car yet, and 3. its not tuned AT ALL.. like i should not have been running my car, but i made sure i wasnt running lean.
14.31 at 98.47 with a 2.26 60 ft. i have a feeling, some of my launch problem is due to not having it tuned.. and not having the right fuel mixture.. but time will tell.. thanks for the comments..

oh, the turbo itself is awesome.. spools just after 4k, and hold all the way to redline. its nuts. and it feels faster between 10 - 15 psi, then that dinky t25 did at 18. so its a sweet trubo. he will love it.

i have to correct that post, because my turbo is alot better with a stock 2g ported mani on it. it spools alot faster, and just feels stronger.
STAY AWAY FROM PACESETTER. i noticed that where the 4 tubes come together, on the collector, its very restrictive. and thats right where it cracked. using a 2g mani is way way better.

yep i had a pacesetter header on my 2gnt and i had to modify it so it would fit properly and it came painted black with "high temp" engine paint that immediately burned off leaving a nasty brownish look to it...made me feel real cool....
