Well Hi again guys! Im back with a new username, TJ 's seats are sitting in my garage and everythings good to go i hope! I figured since my post count is ftl id start off with sharing my progress so far! Car used to have an e316g setup and a 7 bolt. it was fun for one summer: My 97 gsx buildup parts list so far: turbo system build up: PTE dual bb 50 trim ported 2g manifold Victory performance o2 Tial 38mm External W/g dump out the side of the frotn bumper Tial 50 MM bov Maft v2.02 3" gm maf DSMLINK v2 now 6 bolt buildup: shot peened 1g rods new oem 2g teflon coated pistons ARP mains, rods, and head studs Honed decked and cleaned OEM head rebuild ported out a bit HKS 264/272 combo 1g intake manifold with 1g TB Interior: Full black 99 swap completed! new oem black carpet, all new oem black panels New seats (i hate leather) exterior: its getting painted as soon as i finish the interior. same color respray (thanks insurance Company!) pictures: when i first bought it: evo3 setup installed. RMDSM lip and new wheels right before tear down: tear down and new parts: new seats: sparco fighters with corbeau 4 points. Harness bar is not pictured suspension ownage

stupid black interior swap was too much money though, wish i hadnt of. But i got to have at it with a crashed 99 gs so i got everything minus the black leather.. down to the trim strips

no they got one in the junkyard up here!
The interior is still needing a few things to be finished installed:
headliner, trunk panels, glove box, and seats

Full black OEM interior conversions are soooooo overrated I thought the tan was hott.

well its not truly a full black OEM conversion its got sparco fighters instead of black leather! and brent you copied me! ok i kid i kid

and what the hell happened to the spring? My friend Captain Obvious told me that it looks broke..... So I'm assuming that it broke, but he's been wrong before, so idk....

They were skunk2 coilovers. I suspect that a worn out upper strut mount caused the spring to twist instead of the whole assembly twisting and taht after a while the stress cracked them both?
Skunk2 sent me 2 new coilovers.
