Haha, trust me, I think enough people on this board know me well enough, specially with the work i did on the Galant to know this build will be clean and to the original purpose.
Anyways, I ordered my 6-puck sprung ACT disk for my 2100 pressure plate on Tuesday from RRE. The disk should be here Friday, then hopefully this weekend at Lohner's house the clutch, tie rods and maybe battery relocation will be done.

So. Finally got pics, so I might as well update. This is the clutch that came out of the car. OEM replacement, but thrashed. Apparently, one of the backing plate bolts came out and raped and pillaged my clutch disk. While we were in there, we replaced both front axles and passenger axle seal, the driver was the wrong one, so the old hacked up one went back in until i get the right one and replace it. So the clutch now is a ACT2100# with a 6puck ceramic disk. I also found out that my first gear clutch fork is bent. That info provided to me by Brent and John Ryan. I was having some shift cable problems after the clutch (read popping off) so i bought some bearings and put them in one dark snowy cold night. Here's the pics of the bearings I put in. Apparently they're pretty nice bearings for skateboards. Hopefully now I'll be able to shift faster and my shifts will keep going for awhile without me having to reshift...haha lame joke... ALSO! Today, January 1rst 2009. I bought another Talon. 1GA red front wheeler sans motor. I bought it for 150 bucks and my Greddy turbo timer, BUT the parts car has an Apex-I pen style in it right now, so i just walked out of the deal 150 behind. I'm going to pull most the interior out of that one and trade it off. Also some of the front end and broken stuff on my car. I will then be selling whats left in hopes to break even. I'll get pics of the parts car when it arrives 2night or 2marrow.

Thanks again Eric. for those of you that haven't met Eric yet, he is a pretty cool dood. Definitely a hardcore car guy. Anyone that can build and mod up there in that weather is a better guy than me. Upon arrival I see Eric's girl pulling my new whip out of its deep snow parking spot with her jeep. I don't know too many chicks that are going to hook up a tow strap and yank out a stuck car in their 4wd Jeep. Needless to say I was impressed.
I unloaded the 240 yesterday and drove her around a bit. That thing is loud! Its perfect though, I'm very pleased. I found a few unopened beers, to bad they were frozen slush other wise I would have drank them. If there is anything else I can help you out with, let me know. I don't know how easy it is to find DSM parts up there but I can check around here for that bov IC pipe section.

Sorry Tom, fogs are mine.
ASM...cruise control? Also, the eclipse thing will need to be swapped out..so if you have a talon one, or any other center peice, lemme know.
Like I said, the parts Talon is mine, until I'm done with it, then it will get the complete go through and be the GFs daily grind.

AJ, sent out your grill, should be there 2marrow via UPS.
So alittle bit of an update. I'm pretty sure I blew up my 14b. So I took a visit to Brent and got a S16G for trade for my HKS external wastegate setup. Went to go drill out the studs that were broke off in the head of the exhaust side. Wow, those buggers aren't coming out. Snapped a stud on the exhaust housing. Just overall not having a good time. So the decision was made with the help and opinions of some WM members. I'm going to pull the head and just make sure everything is right and eliminate more possibilities of things messing up on me.
So with any luck I'll be able to get the car over to Tyler's house this week and hopefully next week be driving it again!

That sucks man. I went through the same thing a few years ago. I ended up junking the head. In hind sight, I guess a helicoil would have worked but I put a brand new head on. I would think about taking that to a machine shop where they might be able to remove the studs or drill them out with a press.

Eric and I got the car out to Tyler's last night with the help of a flat bed that broke as we went through the light at chums corner (not vry close to Tyler's and not vry far from the house) so two flat beds later and too much time later the head is off and at a machine shop. All the parts are in and the only thing he's missing is motivation.
