Update i guess..haha
So i got my head done, port matched the intake and exhaust side. ARP headstuds.
Put on a 16g i got from brent, well, funny story behind that, i didnt have a proper v-band bolt, so i just used a generic SAE bolt and nut, well the nut loosend and the CRHA was wobbling, causing the inducer wheel to hit the housing and eventually snap the shaft and break the exhaust wheel off. So i bought a near mint 14b off of John and put the 14b chra on a 7cm exhaust housing. Car feels horribly stock now.
Put in some Redline Shock-proof heavy duty gear lube in the trans and painted some of the red parts in the engine bay, everything is looking lot better under the hood.
I do not have powersteering like the GF mentioned above, andrew, the kid before me, cut the feed hose off the rack and put vacuum line to replace it, so i have to order a new line from chrysler and drop the rack to have P/S back.
well thats it for the updates...haha 9psi on a 14b never felt so...slow?..haha

UPDATE WOOT..i think
been driving around on the setup as it sits for awhile. Well i'm having trans problems, no kidding right?.
I had a major coolant leak which kept me from my travel plans on the 21st, well turns out it was just a clamp someone forgot to put back on the coolant feed line from the thermostat housing when we put the 14b back on. Got it fixed and its running decent.
Timing is alittle off, which is making it run lean and missing at 10psi. Cruising in 5th not beating on it and barely boosting, when i stop i can pop the hood and the exhaust mani is glowing. So I got to locate my timing light and the timing check connector and put that back into spec.
Got some more interior pieces put back in the car. Overall starting to not really suck. Still got to order the powersteering line and finish paying for my exhaust. Then save for a trans and FMIC, 2g maf, 750s and little odds and ends

im interested in the 2g maf if the price is right
yea the car will be done by summer, its my daily driver, so its always driving around.
So update..i put on 8mm plug wires, new plugs, and a 2.5" mandrel bent dynamax exhaust. OMG runs soo much better and sounds soo much better. I just need to hook up my boost controller the right way and up the boost atleast to factory specs, its running 9psi right now. Fix my trans leak, get a short shift knob that actually threads onto the shifter and finish cleaning it and putting the last of the little stuff i have left on it.
Ill post some pics when i get it all cleaned up and shining to show my most recent baller status mod.

Ok so here is a bit of an "update" from his gf!!! Eric has replaced/fixed tie rod ends, ball joints, and wheel barrings. NOW two days ago uh (5/25/09) Eric replaced pads and rotors on his front end. While he was finishing up I started to prime and paint the two rims (so front end of car was jacked up. With 2 jack stands and emergency jack and a block by a rear tire oh and it was in gear). Eric had finished the brakes before I finished the rims, and decided that since the car was up to change the oil. After draining the oil he started to loosen the oil filter. As soon as he touched the filter the car shifted to the drivers side causing it to fall onto Eric's forearm. Eric is still sore but fine, no broken bones (someone is looking out for him). He cannot quite drive the car yet because it fell on his right arm. But I finished the front two rims and the oil change and I have been driving it for the past two days and it runs so much better (productive oil change lol).

Wow. Just read the last couple of posts for the first time since the car fell on me. Yea, freaking scary as hell. So let us update while I'm here reading. Since the car fell on me my arm healed up pretty well. I believe i got some nerve damage in my forearm because where my arm landed on the jackstand, the skin is still numb, i can feel all around it and under it if it makes since, but the actual skin is still numb. As for the car. Drove it around for about a month or so. Took it out to Kaleva where i proceeded to show it off to doggy tom and the other DSM members there to show the work and effort put into it. Ran it down the track, AMAZINGLY got 1rst gear both times down the track..but that trans was garbage and i couldn't shift fast enough and with it being horribly stock and my first awd car, and it had no ebrake. I was less then impressed. Well while i was comming home i heard something that sounded like a heatshield was loose in my engine bay..well no heatshields there. I parked it for the night and came back out in the morning..sounded like something in the trans..hm, well whatever. Drove it that day, and when it gets warm and i shut it off. misfire comming from number 2 fuel injector. Would only go away when it got back to cold after sitting for hours. So i checked the injector cold the next day. 3ohms cold, checked it hot, no continuity. Shit..dropped an injector. Let the car cool down and took it for a drive cold to see what the rattling was. The car felt weird, wasnt pulling like it should, looked down at the tach, the tachs moving like its in neutral. Fuck, clutch is slipping, wait. I looked at the speedo and the speedo was doing the same thing. goddammit! i probibly blew the center diff at the track. Well i call Darrell a week later and ask him if he has any trans. He gave me the number to his buddy, Elmo, who after talking to and going down and picking up his spare trans, is a really cool dude. So i got a new trans to replace my 'center diff problem'. Ordered new clutch fork and TOB and seals and powersteering hardline and 2g knock sensor from the chysler dealer up here through my work. So i started planning for the trans swap. Got the car into Ward Eaton towing where my brother works, put the car on the hoist after prepping the new trans. FUCK! drivers side axle carrier bearing unbolted itself and the axle popped out..well, screw it, too late now, put in the new trans, p/s line and holy crap, nothing went right with that at all. NOTHING went right besides the p/s line which i thought was gonna be the hardest part. Well after we got everything in and bolted up, put new fluid in the rear end, put new fluid in the tcase..apparently it didnt have ANY in it. Put new trans fluid in and bolted up the p/s pump and put fluid in that. Went to fire the car..just crank no fire. Tried different things for about an hour and my gf relizes, gas lights on, gauge is pegged at E. okay, put 2 gallons of 87 octane in. Nothing, still no fire. Sprayed either in the throttle body, hooked the i/c pipe back up and it slowly fired but then we got it to where it would run, shitty cuz now the injector was dropped 100% of the time, but it was running again, drove it home, 1rst gear is amazing, i cant believe i went so long without it. The bad thing is, when i shut the car off when i had to get gas on the way home, it wouldnt start unless it was bump started and it wouldnt idle at all. So after that fiasco we got home and i left it for the night being pissed off at it. Come out the next day, couldnt get the ecu apart, so we switched a known bad one in. Fired right up and idled alittle better. So we took 3 ecus in to get them rebuilt. Over the next couple of days i got up motivation to pop the valve cover off and pull the lifters out. Popped off easily, about what i was expecting, then go to pop an intake rocker off, POP a valve keeper popped out. SHIT!. So i went ahead and ordered lifters because at that point i was too pissed to bleed and clean them. So where i stand right now. Waiting for my ecus to come back, waiting for lifters to get here, and waiting for me to figure out how to put that 1 keeper back in without pulling the cam. So once again, im carless, because after having this car for almost 8 months, ive driven it for about 3, and its my daily driver..haha
