Jake who T.J ?
The fuel system ran around $550 with pumps, filters, fittings, line and cell. It was alot more than I wanted it to be.

Nope, those 26in' won't fit, plus the car is not setup for such a tall tire. I'm actually waiting for Albert Raczynski to get back with me about his slicks that he's letting go. Those are 24.5 m&h's.
I'm more excited about getting slicks than everything else right now. I've been daydreaming on how the car is going to pull 1.40's 60's all day.

bye bye transfer cases. You are going to go broke keeping that drivetrain together

Oooh man slicks would be sick. I want em too but man I surely don't have the money to fix the drivetrain over and over.

Oh come on now. Full slicks are better to soak up driveline shock with a wrinkle wall. Plus full slicks will always spin alittle then hook. I'm still going to run a 4 spider not a welded diff. Anyway I have a full set of axles, and a x-fer case that will be in the truck at all times at the track...just in case. I'm going to get his rims with them. There fucking hot as hell. I'll find in a day or two if we got em'.

yeah I really thought about getting those rims if I got a set of slicks. Still undecided, but I doubt I will get slicks for a very long time.

Those slicks and rims look hot as well. Let us know if you get them or not. Any idea what Albert is switching to?

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out myself. I had to put ALOT of imagination into it from the start to make sure it would be safe and come out clean. Those push lock fittings are a royal bitch though. I still have a bruise on my palm just from just those 6 fittings. I ended up freezing the fittings, getting the hose end nice and warm with a hot hair dryer then assemble. They seem to slide easier...to say the least.
Well I got the slick/rim combo! Man I'm happier than horseshit and giddier than a school girl. I was crip walking all day with the occasional moon walk and running man. ;D They should make my car look pretty damn good.
One wheel and tire weighs close to 26lbs. I think I'm going to drop about 75 lbs of rotational weight from the corners of the car. I'll have to weigh everything up. With the fuel cell work I've came close to 100lbs removed from the car this winter. Good shit man!

Albert wouldn't tell me what he's up to with his 2g. All he said was it wasn't going to be ready this year. From what it looks like in the pics on his website he stripped all the paint off and is building a soild axle in the rear.
