The time is upon us......well, upon me. To do the infamous sandblast of the rusty engine bay, Michigan sucks balls dot com. My father and I shall be restoring the bay back to near its original beauty tommorow. Hopefully this turns out good since the rest is coming along marvelously so far.

Looks so much better already. How soon before you're ready to drop the engine back in?

I need my friends help so whenever he has some free time we will piece her together. Here are some finished shots, Not 100% pleased since I didn't know I had to use reducer until we started painting, then it was hard to cover up the spots that had too much paint.

Also, looks like I will be putting her back together with the stock t-25 since funds are low and my family could use my DD.
Does anyone know if I need an EGR block-off for a Cyclone mani ?

Does anyone know if I need an EGR block-off for a Cyclone mani ? PM matt or brandon (blackGSX2g or Agent11br). Both of them are very familiar with the cyclone manifold.

If my memory serves me right you don't need one. They don't use EGRs in Japan.
You are going to have massive amounts of low end torque using a T25 and Cyclone, hopefully you are running a MAFT setup. Talk about instant spool-up. That's like running a Evo3-16g on a 2.4L stroker, LOL. That would be probably the most ideal auto cross rig you could have, only you are missing AWD and a FPBigT28 wouldnt hurt either.
I live at 14mile and crooks, if you ever need a hand, hit me up and I'll get you my cell #. I'd love to see this in person.

Sweet your like 5 miles from my house, I don't really know any hardcore dsm'rs in the area so that would be cool. Only guys I ever really see are the ones up at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday Nights and they are a mixed bunch. Sure I'll pm you after this weekend. -gold

So I have lots of left over Oem paint. I got the idea to repaint 1G Steelies and "Polish" the lip on them. Primer is on and awaiting Paint tomorrow. I'll post up when I have the 1st 2 wheels done. It's a dumb idea I know since they are just steelies, but they are really rusty and I can't bare to look at my wheels like that. Also, by no means am I going to roll with hub caps on.

Well, looks like im still up in the air on my setup. I had some other things I wanted to take care of and now its back to the dsm.
Im looking to possibly go smaller since my father is fed up with the car just sitting in the garage so I might just go 16G setup and call it a day for now. I just want the car up and running for now.
