Ok, so today I swapped out both cas's and it still will not even start. On a 1st try after installing a sensor it would fire up for a second then never start up again just pop as if it wants to. I also got a old version of link in the mail but since I had the battery disconnected I have no codes to read. Hmm, looking for more options now, lol.

So I have a couple things I want to look into this weekend. - swap back to stock maf - swap out ptu -check intake mani gasket - compression test and maybe some small other little things.
If I cant find the issue over this weekend then I have no choice but to take it in as I have been walking, riding a bicycle and riding the bus for a couple weeks back and forth to school, work, and where ever else I need to go. Im done with it. I need my car back!

Coolant temp sensor?? Resistor pack? Make sure that connection right in the middle of the intake manfold is tight? There is a ton of things but it sounds like something really stupid... Your wires are good?? Not burnt or broken/cracked..

The coolant temps resding on link so that's good. The wire were swapped back and forth from a cop setup and had no effect.I know the intake ground is good. Have not looked into the resistorpack yet.

you said you switched out the MAF sensor but the idles for a second then dies comment makes me think of a non running 91 I bought a while back that would fire up and run for maybe 2 seconds barely long enough to setting on an idle speed then die. turned out the Maf wasn't plugged in.
Assuming you can data log check that the air flow signal registers something when you try and start it.

I swapped back and forth between a stock maf and a maft. The airflow is being measured (confirmed via dsmlink). Also today I swapped out the fuel pump with another I had. Unfortunately it did nothing to aid the issue.
Thanks for the help thus far guys.

you want to take it in to the shop or do you want me to come pick it up and get it going for you? Lol, I'd be nice . Unfortunatly I dropped it off at a friends shop yesterday since I only have time during the weekend to work on it. I hope to hear back within the next couple days or so. I'll be sure to post the cause. Thanks for all you help guys.
