I now have about around 15lbs of sound deadening in a bag and about 1 lb of dry ice left over. The car will also be trailered down to the meet this Saturday... Hooray for cage time!!!

Thanks a lot man!
The car was taken down to John's house the day of the last meet to get the cage done. Some of you who don't know me even asked if the shell was for sale. We'll be setting up a few play dates to get the car out of John's hair sooner, and then I can get painting.

Alright, I can FINALLY update this!!! The cage was done by Mark Hayosh at Victory Racing Engines. I can't explain how awesome his work is, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Front shot. Back shot. Door bars. Kick ass parachute mount. Close-up of a floor mount. A-pillar bars will go through the dash. He even altered my seat brackets to give me more head room. My hair barely touches now. All in all this was well worth trading a set of wheels and drag radials for. Next up is paint/body work.

VERY NICE! Did he fab everything, or did you buy things like the chute mount and the window net hardware etc,?
